Does Clover integrate with Jira, Confluence or Crucible?

Q: Does Clover integrate with Jira, Confluence or Crucible? Can I see code coverage per Jira issue?

No. There is no Clover integration with Jira, Confluence or Crucible.

You may find older posts describing a Clover gadget for Jira dashboards or a Confluence iframe macro showing a Clover report. These no longer exist.

The supported continuous integration servers are Bamboo and Jenkins. Coverage results are shown there.

For any other tool, consume Clover's XML report yourself - see How can I download the report or extract coverage metrics?.

Code coverage for a single issue

There is no tool which maps code coverage to an individual issue. A practical approach is to measure coverage at the file level:

  • instrument the code with Clover and run your tests once,
  • find the files modified by commits mentioning a given issue key (e.g. using git log),
  • pass that list of files to the <clover-report> task to generate coverage statistics for those files only.

Several such reports, for different issue keys, can be generated from a single test run. In order to track coverage changes over time, use historical reports instead.
